This years Nano starts a bit rocky as I have no idea where this is supposed to be going. Hoping that the relationships between the four generations of the family is realistic rather than trite. Only time will tell, eh?
Nathan comes from a long, distinguished and successful line of British heroes. Each one of his forefathers excelled in their chosen field of heroism be it policeman, soldier or international spy. That's a lot of responsibility for anyone to continue let alone a six year old boy and, to be honest, he does not give a monkeys.
But with the genetic gift of bravery, strength, wit, and righteousnous comes a fateful curse too. Will Nathan's lack of interest in the family business end the previously predetermined destiny of his loved ones? Or will the pressure of his father's and grandfather's lifestyles force him to get moulded into the man of their design rather than the man he might want to be?

how about changing heroism into shopkeeping.
Each generation can run a different type of shop, haberdasherers or fishmongers?
